In 1987, while teaching full time at Aquinas College, Becky launched her consulting business under the name of The Stewart Company. She initially focused on keynote presentations and communication training.
In 1996 Becky moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin with her husband and the following year changed the name of her company to Building Bridges - Your Bridge to Better Communication. The company focus expanded from keynotes and communication training to seminars, consulting, and professional coaching.
In 2002 Becky's husband, Mike, joined Building Bridges and created the company's publishing division, Building Bridges Publishing.
In 2007 Becky concentrated on creating custom-designed programs for Leadership Training, Sales Training, and Presentations Skills Training.
